Clara grew up near the sea. He mother called her "bright, quick-witted, and good." After a unspecified tragedy her Mother, Violet, sent her to work with her uncle Jasper to improve her health. She arrived in St. Crispian’s on March 2, 1884.[1]
Relationship to Emma[edit | edit source]
On May 19, 1884 she served tea to Emma and Pierce at the Read and Rite and caused the teapot to splash on the table.[2]
