Emma attends a luncheon Roland is there. As per Marys request she goes to Miss Lambs house and learns that that Jane Eyre has been confiscated, they plan a conclave at Lapis Lazuli House. Emma also explains the history of the Jane's.
June 2nd[edit | edit source]
Emma has an odd dream, she and Pierce converse about it. Roland calls on Emma for a ride to the park, he gives her a book.
June 3rd[edit | edit source]
Roland came by while Emma was at church, he left his card.
June 4th[edit | edit source]
Emma received a letter from Saffronia March, who has traveled from Venice to Tuscany.
June 5th[edit | edit source]
Emma attends a dinner at Aunt Eugenia's house, after Agnes mentions that she saw The Roman.
June 6th[edit | edit source]
Emma reads, considers what to wear tomorrow, and sends Mary a note.
June 7th[edit | edit source]
Mr. Pierce comes for dinner, with Emma and Archibald. They talked about Afghanistan, Archibald learns of Tybalt, The Roman enters the house, and they discuss the oddities of Lapis Lazuli House.

Emma wakes up late, and thinks on the dinner the previous night, she also thinks of her self.

Emma attends a ball with Arabella and Aunt Eugenia. Roland is there, they dance, chat and share a drink, Emma over hears a conversation between Roland and Islington.

Emma went to church and talked with Hawkes about Mr. Flat wanting to get rid of the cat. Agnes finds a black leather journal in the cupboard.

Emma stays up the whole night reading the journal, Emma explains what she did on June 11. Emma tells what is in the journal, and how the author writes.

Emma learns who wrote the journal.
June 15th[edit | edit source]
Emma cannot sleep due to the guilt of reading The Dukes journal.
June 16th[edit | edit source]
Emma gets a note from Mr. Pierce saying that he will be out of town. Emma admits to reading the journal twice.

Emma goes to church with Aunt Eugenia and Arabella, she commits to returning the journal tomorrow.

Emma goes to the Duke of Islington's house to return the journal, she is invited into the rabbit room.

Emma goes on a walk and throws her lucky-unlucky marble as far as she can.

Emma avoided her journal last week as penance, Emma goes on a ride with Aunt Eugenia and Arabella, they talk of Emma's fake chaperone .

Tybalt is crying because Mr. Pierce left, At Archibald thinks some curse has fallen on him for some past deed.
