May 1st
Emma receives her calling cards then goes on a walk and meets Young Hawkes, he tells her that Archibald confesses both her sins and his. Emma is called to tea with Aunt Eugenia where she receives an itinerary for May and June.
May 2nd
The Tenant sends a note through the wall and they converse about the mice.
May 3rd
Emma wardrobe arrived, she has tea at Aunt Eugenia house, she and Arabella talk without Aunt Eugenia.
May 4th
Archibald writes that he will not be coming home because his sister is sick, he also sends that Emma will get her salary.
May 5th
Emma records her mortal enemies. She meets Victoria Braithwaite and Roland Sutherland at Aunt Eugenia's Exclusive Dinner.
May 6th
Emma goes to church, there is moaning and cheering in the back row. At home she finds a cat Tybalt, the solution to her mice problem. She meets The Tenant through the wall, his name is Niall Pierce.
May 7th
Emma has tea with Arabella they talk about men and Maxwell.
May 9th
Mary comes for tea, she knows Tybalt from a fellow boarder.
May 11th
Emma exchanges notes with Niall Pierce about the disappearing of items in St. Crispian's.
May 12th
Emma attends Aunt Eugenia's card party, she and Roland make a bet.
May 13th
Emma and Roland go on a walk, they meet The Tenant.
May 14th
Emma goes to the bank, she can live 2 years with her current money.
May 16th
Parian returns to prepare the way for Mr. Flat.
May 17th
Archibald comes home.
May 19th
Emma goes for tea in honor of her mothers birthday and helps Mr. Pierce find a lost item. They speak of Maxwell and war.
May 20th
Emma sends a note to Mary.
May 21st
Emma was ordered to Aunt Eugenia's, Aunt Eugenia is disappointed in her.
May 22nd
Emma wakes to the rain, Emma goes to tea and records Selected Comments made by Aunt Eugenia. Emma exchanges notes with Mr. Pierce.
May 23rd
Emma has tea with Aunt Eugenia, Arabella, Viviana West and George West.
May 24th
Emma had High Tea with Aunt Eugenia, Arabella, Charles Goddard, and others. She talks with Agnes in the Garret.
May 25th
Emma attended the Salisbury Ball, Charles Goddard also attended. Emma hides in the Library, and meets The Duke of Islington,
May 26th
Emma wonders at the barbaric society she lives in.
May 27th
Emma uses her lucky-unlucky marble.
May 28th
Emma and Archibald meet to discuss the staffs wages.
May 29th
Aunt Eugenia sends a note demanding Emma to come to an exclusive Dinner.
May 30th
Emma goes on a walk, she becomes introspective.
May 31st
Emma goes on a walk with The Tenant. she talks to Archibald about an upcoming dinner with Mr. Pierce. She and Mr. pierce exchange notes.
